My inspiration comes mainly from organic forms. I have become increasingly interested in Narrative and Still Life. I enjoy the juxta position of forms and colour and the placement of objects in the picture plane. I paint or draw in my sketch book and then manipulate scanned images using Photoshop. The resulting work is printed or painted onto fabric. Texture, detail and colour is added after using free machine embroidery.
