I enjoy using a variety of mixed media techniques on my textile pieces including free machining and hand stitching.
My inspiration may come from an idea I’ve had and I tend to try and explore these ideas - sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t but that is the fun of working with textiles and with so many materials available in the form of wire, paint, paper, fabric and threads, anything is possible.
I also love feltmaking because sometimes you can’t guarantee the result….. it has a mind of its own!
